Kate Chalfant is a marketing and events strategist based in the Triangle, with a background in public relations and community-focused storytelling. Originally from South Carolina, she moved to Durham after graduating from the University of South Carolina and quickly found a sense of home in the area.

Kate’s work centers around bringing people together. She has planned and promoted a wide range of experiences, often partnering with local businesses to create events that feel both intentional and engaging. She was drawn to Boutique Homes for its emphasis on relationships and community. Her focus is on creating opportunities for connection that extend beyond the transaction and into the everyday experience of where people live.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys hosting game nights, going to trivia, thrifting, and spending time outdoors. She is also a big coffee person and will always stop to meet any animal she passes.
