Henry and Nichada loved living in Cary but the home they were renting was too small. As classical musicians who work many hours from their home, they really wanted to have space for each of them to practice and record and also have living space that was designed and lived just for ‘home life’.

Mona and Tom had owned 1007 Willow Drive for several years. Families move when life gives them a reason. They had been dreaming of building a home in Durham or Orange Cty near the Carolina Friends School and were hoping to find a beautiful piece of land to design their forever home! Within a few weeks such a property popped up and after walking it a few times with Masha they decided it was 'JUST RIGHT"! The kids are excited to climb trees and find little creatures, Mike and Lucia will be pouring through home design magazines making plans that will make their dreams come true!

While attending an open house hosted by Masha in 2018 in his mother’s Greenwood neighborhood, Craig knew that she would be the perfect fit to help sell his mothers home when the time came for her to move years later. As the time approached he needed an “all hands in” person and reached out to Masha. He needed help determining the best plan to prepare her 1952 home for sale. They wanted to find a buyer that would appreciate the history of this home, the beauty of its original details & prime location! After getting his mother settled in her new home, Masha created a marketing story and plan that brought a choice of good offers- and one Craig was happy to accept! We were honored to be able to stay in contact and help this great family.

With children now in College, this was a great time to pursue finding a new home that felt special to come home to. A home that would allow for large family gatherings and provide personal space for everyone during visits. This would be a home to last "Nine-Innings"! Colleen and Rick dreamt of a nice yard again for their sweet & spunky dog Ruby to romp around in, that would allow for a dream pool & outdoor entertainment area! With patience & a little ‘southern flair' they landed a SWEET home in an inviting neighborhood with a buffered back yard giving them the privacy and space they dreamed of. Rick and Colleen have partnered with Masha several times when they needed to buy or sell their home. After moving from NJ and building a beautiful family home together in Hillsborough’s Churton Grove Community, selling it a few years later to buy a home in the Hope Creek neighborhood, they eventually ended up in an amazing Meadowmont Townhome. This home served them well providing levels and zones & both a convenient and elegant lifestyle for their growing children and their cute pup, Ruby! Fast forward a few years, with children in college & more time for themselves, they decided it was time for a home more reflective of the lifestyle that focuses more on their dreams. Naturally, they reached out to Masha who had become a close family friend now to represent them again! In 2017 Vikram moved from CA to Durham for the Duke Anesthesiology Program. At that time Vikram worked with Masha to buy this lovely home. After marrying his beautiful bride Leena, completing his residency at Duke, and filling their home with two dogs, beautiful children & a household of memories, the family is moving back to CA to a new home, an exciting new position and to many amazing adventures surrounded by family and great “Cali weather”!

For 15 wonderful years in their home George and Lisa raised their twins and their cat Pickles; created many great memories and enjoyed their private backyard! Laura purchased 38 Parson Chase in 2013 with Masha as her Buyer's Agent. It was a great first home as it allowed her to have her own space and a super private back yard! After she and Dan married it served another purpose for them as an investment property! For many years they enjoyed passive income and loved the idea of providing a home for someone to enjoy as she had. In 2021 Laura and Dan asked Masha to help them position their investment property to sell so that they could create some flexibility in their lives. Bill and Polly knew about Chapel Hill from their time visiting during their son's undergraduate years at UNC. They chose it as the town they wanted to enjoy their retirement years and a place that their family would love to come visit, especially their new grandchild. Recently married and living in Heather's home, Greg reached back out to Masha to help with his home sale in 2022 and again in 2023 when it was clear that a space that better allowed for both Heather and Greg's new lifestyle was desired. Wanting both work and relaxing areas, outdoor space for a new dog they hoped to bring into their family, and a home that would still allow them the ability to enjoy life exploring the world was important to them both. Their new home allows them to prepare meals with ease and enjoy company nearby. It also allows them private areas upstairs to watch TV, read, and enjoy a hobby they share without having to pack it up to use the space for other activities. It's a true home that will serve them for their new family!

Patty and Michael were starting a new phase- we call it “almost-empty-nesters”! With Patty still working and Michael recently retired is was about time to start thinking about an easier home life; a home where they could enjoy modern convenience and a more stress-free lifestyle.

Michael and Patty new Masha as a fellow parent in the Lerner Jewish Community Day School where both family’s children grew up together. When family history lends itself to creating history in one of Chapel Hill’s most Historic Neighborhoods!

In the late 1930s, John’s father purchased the entire block of Coolidge St. The family lived in the white house on the corner and gradually built and leased the other dwellings on the street. In the late 50s, Lolly shared that she had first met John & after they married, his father built what was the original duplex at 509-511 Coolidge St. They lived there for many years and by amazing coincidence, years later one of their daughters returned to Chapel Hill after college, married, lived in the duplex, and rented out the lower unit.

In 2007 a large tree fell through the roof and totally destroyed the house. At the time, the Town of Chapel Hill was not allowing more duplex building, but Lolly shared that they were ‘grandfathered in’ and allowed to rebuild the duplex. Local custom home builders, Village Partners Builders Co rebuilt the duplex & since then it has been a very reliable and profitable investment property for this family.

At some point we all start to think about simplifying our lives, and John & Lolly asked Masha to help them find the right investor for this property that has SO much history in their family and within the community.
