Happy October! We have some great things coming up this month!

A new series we are calling “The “Spooky Past” of  Chapel Hill and our other beloved communities!”

Mary will take a deep dive into the rich history of Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, and Durham to bring you some seasonal, spooky, and fascinating history! Keep an eye out for some cool ghost stories. As a newcomer herself to Chapel Hill and Durham, Mary is experiencing Fall in Chapel Hill for the first time and invites you to come along! Each week a new Halloween-related adventure will be featured so check back weekly for more!

Later this month, we will also be sharing more updates on fun Fall festivals, area trick-or-treating news, and more Fall “fare”! 

If you are looking for something to add to your calendar now, check out Haunted Hillsborough for their tours running through the month of October! Mary says “ I’ve booked my tour for later this month and am going to share my experience!”  You can find more things to do this month on “Triangle on the Cheap” - It’s a nice resource for local events and things to add to your calendar! 

A not-to-miss location is our very own college towns!  The UNC-Chapel Hill campus is full of Seasonal colors and is a gorgeous Fall location & Duke’s East Campus is stunning and currently showing off its 100-year-old pin oak trees in all their glory- Check it out!
