There is still plenty of time throughout the rest of summer, and well into the fall, to enjoy the infamous farmer’s markets throughout the Triangle area!  After all, there is nothing like spending your morning out in the community, surrounded by fresh produce and local goods made by our very own neighbors.  Last season, markets were forced to make changes to their hours and how they did business, but this year they are back and better than ever!  And, with the economic hardships that many farmers and craftsmen faced within the last year and a half, it’s more important than ever to rally behind our community and support the local vendors!

Here is a list of some of the most popular farmer’s markets throughout the Triangle:

Chapel Hill and Carrboro Markets

Carrboro Farmer's Market

Hillsborough Market

Eno River Farmer's Market

Some of the best North Carolina fruit in the Triangle, such as peaches and apples!  While one of the smaller markets, you’ll never be disappointed with the quality.  All of the farmers come from within 60 miles of Hillsborough.

While many, if not most, of the farmer’s markets are back to operating as normal, it’s still a good idea to check their website or Facebook page before heading out each week.  This is especially helpful when trying to decide if you should bring a mask or if your dog can come along for the ride.  Either way, having the opportunity to enjoy these wonderful farmer’s markets is just another reason why we’re so fortunate to live in the Triangle!
