It's a tomato lover's paradise from heirlooms that look like works of art to cherry tomatoes that pop in your mouth like nature's candy. And don't even get me started on the recipes and tastings. Pro tip: Come hungry!

Did you know that our lovely state of North Carolina ranks #10 in tomato production nationally? That's right, we're kind of a big deal in the tomato world. And here's a little tidbit to impress your friends at parties: in French, tomatoes are called "pomme d'amour" or "love apples." Apparently, folks used to think they were aphrodisiacs. Who knew veggie shopping could be so spicy? ????

But wait, there's more! Just a week later, on July 20th, it's time to get the blues - blueberries, that is! The 9th Annual Blueberry Fest at Cedar Grove Blueberry Farm is where it's at. 

Picture this: You, armed with a basket, surrounded by bushes laden with plump, juicy blueberries. It's like a treasure hunt, but you're finding little purple jewels of deliciousness instead of gold. And once you've picked to your heart's content, the real fun begins!
