A Morning at The Varsity: Our Devil Wears Prada 2 Recap

There's something timeless about a morning movie at The Varsity - the marquee on Franklin Street, buttered popcorn in hand, and, of course, the unmistakable presence of Meryl Streep on the big screen.

Earlier this month, we hosted our annual Friends & Family Movie Event at The Varsity in Chapel Hill, featuring a special screening of Devil Wears Prada 2.



Guests checked in, grabbed their treat bags, and settled in with fresh popcorn from the theater before the movie began. One of our favorite parts of events like these is getting the chance to slow down, reconnect, and spend time with the people who make this community feel so special.



Of course, Devil Wears Prada 2 delivered exactly what it always does: iconic fashion, unforgettable one-liners, and plenty of laughter throughout the theater.

There was plenty of whispered commentary shared across rows throughout the film.



We loved seeing so many familiar faces throughout the morning and getting to share such a fun local experience together in the heart of downtown Chapel Hill.

It was one of those events where the atmosphere felt just as memorable as the movie itself.
